Household Logistics

Cozy home with fresh food, flowers, and pets.

Sometimes it's the ordinary things that become the most overwhelming.

Laundry still needs to be done. Groceries need to make it from the store into the refrigerator. The dog needs a walk. A light bulb needs changing. The garden you love still needs tending. And it can be incredibly frustrating when the things you've always done for yourself suddenly take more energy than you have—or aren't safe or possible to do anymore.

There are services for many of these individual needs, but coordinating multiple companies and appointments can become another job of its own. And sometimes what you really need isn't grocery delivery—you need someone to look through the refrigerator with you, figure out what sounds good this week, pick up the groceries, put them away, and help get a few things ready to eat.

Our Household Logistics service is designed to fill those gaps.

Rather than hiring a different service for every task, you can purchase a bank of hours and use that time where it will make the biggest difference in your life. What you need this week may be completely different from what you need next week. That's okay. The help adapts to you, not the other way around.

Household Logistics may include:

  • Housekeeping — light housekeeping as well as occasional deeper cleaning projects.
  • Shopping & errands — groceries, household necessities, prescriptions, returns, pickups, and other everyday errands.
  • Food & meal support — clearing expired food, taking inventory of what's already available, planning meals around your current preferences, needs, and abilities, grocery shopping and putting items away, and limited meal-preparation assistance.
  • Household help & minor maintenance — moving heavier items, changing light bulbs, simple household tasks and minor repairs, or helping arrange the home to make everyday activities easier and safer.
  • Downsizing & organizing — sorting belongings, organizing spaces, deciding what stays or goes, preparing donations, and helping make a changing living situation feel more manageable.
  • Pet care & coordination — walks, feeding assistance, setting up automatic feeders, picking up supplies, and coordinating services such as mobile grooming or veterinary care.
  • Light yard & garden help — pulling weeds, planting, moving items to improve accessibility, tending small garden projects, and coordinating professional landscaping when a project requires more than we can provide.
  •  Life Admin - Things like sorting mail, helping make phone calls, organizing paperwork, scheduling home services, handling returns, canceling subscriptions, or sitting beside someone while you work through the pile of little administrative things that accumulate.

And sometimes you won't know exactly what kind of help you need until something comes up. That's part of why these hours are flexible.

The goal isn't to take over your home or your life. It's to take a few things off your plate so you can use your time and energy for the things you'd rather be doing.

Not Included In Package Fee

Your package covers the time and services provided by the This Beloved Life team. If we purchase items on your behalf—such as groceries, household supplies, pet supplies, plants, or other requested items—the cost of those purchases is separate from your package fee. You will be provided with receipts for any purchases made on your behalf.

Sometimes accomplishing something on your list requires bringing in an outside professional or service. Our time spent helping you research options, schedule appointments, coordinate services, or be present for the work is included in your purchased hours. The cost charged by the outside provider is not included and will be paid directly by you to that provider.

Outside services might include:

  • An estate sale, moving, junk removal, or donation service
  • A mobile pet groomer or veterinarian
  • A landscaping company for larger yard or garden projects
  • Licensed tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC professionals, or other contractors
  • Professional cleaning or specialty services beyond the scope of our team
  • Any other outside professional or vendor you choose to hire

Whenever an outside service is needed, we'll discuss it with you before arrangements are made. You remain in control of who you hire and what you're comfortable spending.
