Death vigil

 No one should have to face their final hours alone, and the people who love them shouldn't have to carry those hours alone either. As death draws near, I can provide calm, compassionate presence at the bedside—whether at home, in a hospital, hospice facility, or another care setting. Before the vigil, whenever possible, we can talk about what dying well means to you and create a plan for how you want your space and final days to feel: who you want nearby, the music you want playing, smells that remind you of your favorite things, meaningful readings or rituals, lighting, touch, quiet, conversation, or simply peaceful companionship. During the vigil, I can sit with you, advocate for the wishes you've expressed, communicate with your care team and loved ones, and offer non-medical comfort and support. I can also provide respite so family members can sleep, eat, care for themselves, spend time with other loved ones, or step away knowing you are not alone. Sometimes there are things to say and things to do. Sometimes there is nothing to do at all except sit beside someone and be present. You deserve that presence right until the end.
