Individual therapy and supportive sessions can take place in my office, your home, or even during a walk together, providing companionship support throughout our journey. I practice active listening and presence during our sessions, ensuring that you feel supported in our services and appointments. Sometimes, you need help finding an answer; other times, you just need someone who is willing to sit with the question. Together, we will utilize tools for comfort, coping, and emotional well-being tailored to what feels right for you. These may include stress-reduction techniques, guided imagery, meditation, breathing and relaxation practices, grounding exercises, and strategies for managing pain or discomfort.
We will also explore death anxiety and the complex emotions that often surround dying, such as fear, uncertainty, grief, anger, sadness, changes in identity, unfinished business, and concerns regarding your loved ones. As an end-of-life doula, I offer Sacred Henna Sessions for clients who wish to integrate creativity, symbolism, ritual, connection, or personal meaning into their end-of-life experience.
You can receive family support and religious and spiritual guidance of your choosing. If there are prayers, sacraments, ceremonies, traditions, rituals, or other spiritual practices significant to you, I can help coordinate with clergy, spiritual leaders, or your faith community, or read aloud to you myself. Spiritual support is available to everyone, regardless of religious beliefs.
For those interested in exploring psychedelic-assisted therapy, I can assist in determining whether it may be an appropriate option for addressing end-of-life distress, anxiety, fear, or existential concerns, and help connect you with qualified providers if desired.
